In honor of Black History Month, the offices of Student Success Programs and Multicultural Affairs is hosting UTC's Black History Month Kickoff, featuring the 4th Annual Taste of Black Chatt on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 12 to 2 pm in the Maclellan Gymnasium. 

This year, we’re not just kicking off Black History Month—we’re sparking conversations about African Americans and labor through the vibrant lens of culture, community, and cuisine. This event will feature free samples from Black-owned businesses and captivating performances by student organizations from both high schools and the university, including UTC’s NPHC Greeks, the Golden Ladies Dance Team, and more!

Taste of Black Chatt 2025 is more than just a free sample giveaway—it’s an incredible opportunity to showcase your offerings, connect with the university, and share your delicious creations with a diverse audience, including over 100+ students, local high school teachers and students, artists, and members of the broader Chattanooga community.
